ART DIRECTION / ILLUSTRATION / BRANDING

I am creative professional with over 15 years of experience. I have a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of North Texas and I studied Communication Design at PNCA here in Portland. I have worked at agencies and studios big and small, and with non-profits and small businesses, helping them tell their stories and bring their brands to life. My clients include Fodor’s, Hollywood Theater and Oregon State Parks, Rally Pizza, Feast and West Margin Press.

I also illustrate maps for publications, airline magazines, campus maps and for travel guides. As an Army Brat moving all over the place, I used to pour over guidebooks and maps in the back seat of the car while we headed off to explore somewhere new. I still love discovering new places through making maps.

Client Testimonials:

“Jennifer is an exceptionally talented, professional, and responsible illustrator, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her on our Fodor’s Inside Portland travel guide. She researched the content thoroughly to create beautiful and relevant illustrations for the book. She was easygoing, open to feedback, and diligently followed the schedules to meet all deadlines. Everyone in our Art and Editorial teams loved working with her. I look forward to collaborating with Jennifer again and highly recommend her for any project!- Tina Malaney, Fodor’s Travel, Design & Production Director

“We have loved every experience working with Jennifer Reynolds, ever since the moment we met her working together on Rally Pizza. She is a talented artist who can deliver custom, thoughtful artwork. She also deeply understands the client experience and listens to what you want and need. It's rare to have both in the same package, plus Jennifer is an incredibly kind, calm and generous person! We recommend her to everyone looking for logo, look and feel, creative campaign and merchandise work. We have been beyond pleased with every piece she has created in our work together!”- Carrie Welch & Jannie Huang of Little Green Pickle and FEAST

Jennifer helped us evolve our Portland-based nonprofit to a statewide organization, by developing a brand that was fun, eye-catching, and versatile. We had no idea how to define our brand, yet she was able to deftly convert our thoughts into visual assets that reflected our vision. The materials she created for us were easy to use, and simple to convey into all of our online, print, and media needs. It was an absolute joy to collaborate on this project with her. -Holly Hutchason, PNWCSA

“I love my website because of Jennifer's charming, whimsical, and informative illustrations. She nailed what we wanted, took direction and ran with it, and was unbelievably efficient and responsive. I can't wait to work with her again!” - Lori Palm, owner of PATH

"We came to Jen with a branding project, not knowing exactly what we needed or wanted. She took the time to listen to us at every stage, was unfailingly pleasant and responsive to our requests, and gave us lots of viable options. She has a wealth of knowledge of her field and a great understanding of the industry’s current trends. We are thrilled with the quality of work Jen has done for us, and plan to send all our graphic design work to her as our company grows!" - Alan Maniscalco, Chef/Owner Rally Pizza

"We engaged Jennifer to help us with a major re-branding effort at Catlin Gabel School, and the result has been very positive. She created a comprehensive design strategy – including color, logo, font, and imagery standards – that quickly became central to all of our communications. She has also used those standards to create an array of unique and effective pieces for us, including magazines, brochures, booklets, and postcards." - Ken Dubois, Director of Public Relations and Publications, Catlin Gabel

"Jennifer is very responsive to her clients’ needs and always over-delivers on creativity, customer service, and the overall language of design." - Patrick McNeil, Patrick McNeil Wines and Paydirt Wines
